This is my second BIO IONIC flat iron. I had my first one for 7 years and I loved it. The wiring eventually became loose from the iron and it stopped working. I went back to using my "back up" iron and it was awful. I couldn't get this BIO IONIC purchased fast enough. The feel of this product is truly salon quality and I couldn't ask for anything better in the way it straightens my hair. I have very long hair and it doesn't crimp or pull hair. It is very smooth and has plenty of heat. I love the upgraded digital temp display and the lock feature on the outside of the handle. Also, putting the temperature buttons on the inside section of the handle works well and the alarm that notifies you that the iron is up to temp is genius. I have only tried "Walmart" bought flat irons otherwise, so I don't have reference of another iron of similar value and quality to compare; however, my hair stylist uses this brand and I have now purchased two of these, so I can say with confidence... this is an excellent flat iron! Ordering, packaging, shipping time and all other aspects of this purchase were perfect.
