So I work in a fabrication shop as a welder & flame cutter. I always need boots that can hold up against all kinds of debris and beatings. I walk all day on uneven surfaces, slag, metal chips, etc etc. 8-10 hours a day, 5 day per a week.These boots generally last me about 1 1/2 years before the bottoms get work down and the inside isn’t very snug.However, that being said, they are very comfortable and lightweight. They can take a beating and still hold up. I do wish the laces were better or that it came with a spare, they started to fray after a few months.All in all, a good pair of work boots.On the inside the tongue of the shoe does not cover the backend of the shoelace hooks. Will scratch your ankles if your not always wearing thick long socks. Duck tape seems to cover it nice.I am a plumber, deal with a lot of mud and water, so far holding up, but left me some major blisters. Very firm boot. Looks and feels like a $165 boot.Husband swears by these boots! Works in fire protection and walks, climbs, crawls etc all day. These last him about two years and stay comfortable the entire time. He replaces mainly because they looked wore out. Not because they are.Was worried ordering from amazon warehouse. But boots were new and fit greatI bought these 2 times hoping for the right color to come but no kept sending me same ones. So I just sent it back got them at sears.Very comfortable bootsThese boots are amazing my husband loves them and says they are worth every penny
