These are great pads. Super comfortable, everything is soft, cushy, and no exposed seams or Velcro that's going to chafe. Wore these for a few hours today and on bike, comfort is better than anything other knee/shin I've tried. They don't slip or shift around, and are long enough to cover right down to top of your foot (I'm 5-7, and got a medium based on the size chart). Fit is perfect. Quick to take off and put on. Four Velcro flaps that do up quickly- no straps to thread through or removing your shoes to slip into a sleeve. While billed as "soft" pads, the armor over the knee and shin is fairly rigid and feels quite beefy. The outer material feels quite durable and doesn't seem to snag easily. They also aren't too bulky, and can even be worn underneath jeans or pants, provided they're a more relaxed cut. Some Leatt knee/shins I have are much bulkier and can really only be worn with shorts. The issue I noticed initially is the knee armor is pretty heavily "pre bent",which is great when in a riding posture, but not great when standing. The bottom edge of the knee armor would dig into your shin, so any walking got uncomfortable quite fast. I ended up removing the armor from the pads-there is a slit and can be slipped out, presumably for washing, and trimmed about 1/2" off the bottom curved edge of both the foam and it's hard plastic shell, then reinserted. Huge improvement. Initially it seemed almost like the armor was too big for the pocket, so it got overly folded over when installed. Just shaving a bit off allows it to fit better, and no longer curls over. Comfort while standing or walking is much better.Still definitely recommended. TSG is high quality kit that's a little hard to find in the US, and despite not being a Prime item, I still ordered on a Friday and had them monday, so quick shipping from the seller. The fit issue may be something just an issue for me, but it is easily fixed with some sharp scissors and about 5 minutes.
