This is by far the best written and most comprehensive text book on glass science. My first exposure to glass science was through this text book as an undergraduate student (junior year). But this book goes well beyond that, providing more detailed coverage of important topics such as glass transition range behavior. Even now, over ten years later, I still consult this book on a regular basis, either for reference or for a refresher on a certain topic.
