First off, this product is, for me, a luxury. It is NOT a necessity. I do not live in a cold climate, but we have our share of cold nights. I used to encourage the cat to sleep on my bed where my feet were going to go so that my feet could benefit from the warm spot when I got into bed. NOT ANY MORE! It takes 2 minutes or so to set it up about an hour before bed and about 2 minutes to put it away just before you go to sleep.But after the first time you crawl into a warm bed, YOU WILL DO IT EVERY NIGHT it is cold and NEVER complain! If the day was stressful or I got cold during the day, or had achy muscles, I would honestly think longingly about the first moment when I got into my warm, dry bed at night.It is summer now as I write this. I don't use it for the room-temp air circulation. But now there is even more to look forward to when the first cold fronts start to roll through in the fall!This has a long setting and turns off up to 180min and as little as 15min.The hot is really hot and the cold gets me by on those hot flash nights. The medium is perfect to warm up your toes or sooth a sore muscle. Easy to figure out a setting you like and it's a soothing white noise to sleep to.money wise it was great compared to the others in this area. Haven't used it on my boots yet but I will and with the attachment I am sure it will work great!This product works well, but it was missing the shoe dryer part which was to be included in the box. Tried calling the manufacture that Amazon suggested for missing parts and the manufacturer said to call Amazon. Feel like I'm getting the run around.I really am glad I purchased this product. It's been a lifesaver in warming the bed this winter, but has also helped with it's multiple drying features. I use this every week on my floor bedding, and it definitely fluffs up my cotton batting. But the additional attachment for boots has saved my partner's boots after being soaked in the rain during work a few times now. It also helped to dry my bed when I had a fever with sweats a few months ago. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to use my bed! Great investment for sure.I was in the hospital for day surgery. It was freezing in the surgery cue room and when I asked for more hot blankeys, the nurse brought in a larger version of this machine. The comfort that thing gave me was fantastic. Med store hospital models are out of average consumer price range. This unit is the only one I could find in an affordable price.This thing works great. I have a large Japanese bed and I love in a very rainy area, so taking it outside to sit in the sun is not an option. I needed something I could use the dry and sanitize my bed. I use it every other night just to warm the bed and about once a week I put it in the longest setting to kill any dust mites and make sure it’s fully dry. It also fluffs it up again. If you have a Japanese bed and you can’t regularly dry it in the sun, get this.It immediately heats up and warms the whole blanket in about 30 seconds. I actually had to pull it away a little bit because it was so warm. The hose is very flexible so if it gets too hot you just face the hose in a different direction. Have it set on winter but you could also set on summerThis has been an excellent buy! Extremely easy-to-use, lightweight and durable. It's powerful blower can warm your whole bed in a few minutes depending on the amount of covers you have. Works well for two people under a throw blanket. Wife uses it everyday since Christmas with no issues....the hose could be longer, but definitely a good value for the money!For those interested to know, this product is actually a Japanese futon dryer (to dry moisture from the cotton).It can be used for whatever purposes you need it for though.Anyways it works great for shikibutons and was a hard find!Thanks!Person I gave it to loves it
