How did I get here? A friend has experienced inversion therapy and mentioned that it's the way to go. Since both myself and my lady sit for a good part of the day and she has several issues where this may help. Hearing this, I wanted to get an inversion table but I didn't want to spend mad money.The table was delivered on time by Amazon. Note: the table in it's shipping carton is bulky and heavy! It was delivered to my garage and I manhandled the carton to the lower level. Amazon could have brought it inside the home for an additional charge but I managed ok.Assembly was easy with the clear, well thought out instructions. The small parts carrier was nicely laid out and numbered to follow along with the instructions. It came with its own multi purpose wrench which I used. The table can be folded away but I have no need to do this and is level and very sturdy on our carpeted floor.After 9 months of using the table she says it helps with her sciatica and other ailments. She uses it daily along with a connective tissue workout starting out at 3 and currently at 5 minutes. She has progressed through the incline settings being one away from max. I do use it on occasion finding the padded areas to be comfortable and effective especially with the ankle cushions locked snugly against my boney legs.OK, I am not a doctor or pretend to be. I do know that with regular use it has helped the Queen. Myself, I was hoping to stretch out to 6'5" but my height has not changed though. Peace out!I ordered this inversion table hoping it would help with intractable leg pain. It turned out that I needed hip replacement surgery and the inversion table was not helpful. A friend of mine now has it, however, and uses it at least 3-4 times per week for pain in his lower thoracic and lumbar spine. He says the inversion table is wonderful and gives him great pain relief.Be sure to read and follow the assembly instructions carefully to assemble this device, and know that is is fairly heavy and somewhat awkward once it is assembled. Check with your doctor before using the inversion table if you have heart disease, hypertension, or a history of stroke.I have back issues and hip issues. My pelvis can flare out of position, rotate forward or back and lock up. I have had surgery at C7, C3/4 (fused) and I’ve had my SI joints fused. This table allows gravity to act as a passive stretching tool. I am not worried about my surgeries holding up, since this is so gentle a pull.This table has taken the place of the other human that was needed to pull my leg. I can finally pull my own leg!! (Yeah, I heard it.) It’s easy to get onto and I go on it numerous times a day. I was trimming the lawn yesterday and was feeling pain in my hips and lower back. I took a break and climbed onto my Exerpeutic inversion table and hung for a few minutes. This resets my hips and pelvis so gently… and I was then pain free and could go back to work! I had gotten used to just limping and suffering through the pain until I could afford a chiropractor visit. Now I can fix it myself.I found reading thru the directions numerous times before I started was very helpful. I also used some vise grips to assist in the assembly. That really moved things along. I found a video on YouTube that showed assembly and it took him 36 minutes. I found it was more like an hour, but was fairly simple to assemble. I posted a pic of the swing arms and the correct set up of the nuts and washers, I found the direction pics a bit difficult to interpret. On the whole I am very excited to add this to my upkeep regimen. I am already doing more core exercises whilst I am using the inversion table, so overall it’s a big thumbs up! I’ll update if anything changes.There is only one downside to this, and it could be an issue under the right circumstances. The ankle holders are more like calf holders. They are set too high. And there is no adjustment for them. Something to keep in mind, that when you invert, you will slide down a few inches until your ankles hit the pads. Somewhat spooky the first time you lay back. And if you have small feet or skinny ankles, it might be a bigger issue. Overall it is nice quality. It's sturdy and has some nice features. Just wish the ankle part was adjustable.On arrival, I saw damage to the cardboard box. Took photos on my porch before moving or opening in case of damage to product that I might have to make a claim for. Not the case, as the packaging was more than adequate to prevent damage. Not a scratch or any form of damage, in fact the damage to the box obviously occured in shipping, and was adressed by the shipper (Amazon)..No damage whatsoever to the machine, which I would say could have endured much more than what happened, as it is totally sturdy and functional. This machine is a godsend and i only need a few moments of my time a day to stretch and relax my lower back muscles. Much cheaper than the competetive products, and a full featured product in comparison to them. Although this device can be folded and stored, I haven't needed to move it from it's corner, and it doesn't take much room to invert. Love this table.Very easy to assemble. As another reviewer stated , having a more substantial spanner available will help and speed up the assembly. The build quality is first class. I was shocked as to how well made and sturdy the inversion table is considering it's price compared to some other much more expensive models on Amazon. I have only owned for a couple of weeks. I use it 3 times a day for a couple of minutes at at time on the most basic setting and I feel good whenever I have used this. Makes me feel more energised . Highly recommended.Absolutely delighted with this inversion table. It was recommended to me by my Physo & I must say I was very skeptical. But having assembled it ( quite easy to do but you really do need a second person to help) & started to use it immediately as per advisory instructions & I absolutely do feel the benefit already. I am looking forward to using it daily & will post another updated review in a couple of weeks. So far it’s a very sturdy piece of kit & I think it’s well worth the moneyThought £100 delivery charge is very steepBut it’s a good well made productI would recommend it for back pain reliefBut ask a specialist first if this is good for you[Works incredibly well.
