the title of this review says it all. my hair had been super damaged from using hair straighteners that were awful on my hair even on the lowest heat setting. my hair was breaking off at the ends/falling out in clumps (almost handfuls) due to having a hysterectomy and the crazy hormonal changes I was going through. after some research, a lot of reviews i read on different sites recommended this line. these have 100% changed my hair.i only wash my hair once, maybe twice a week depending on how sweaty i get and if my dry shampoo isn’t absorbing the oil anymore. I have to double cleanse my hair with tea tree shampoo due to psoriasis in my scalp and then I go in with this shampoo. my hair is a little past my chin and I use a nickel size amount and it foams right up and gets my hair really clean. the conditioner is very concentrated but it’s not thick like a deep conditioning hair mask. I use the tiniest amount like a pea size and I gently brush it through my ends and on the thickest part of my hair towards the top where I part my hair (I do a deep side part). I only leave it in for 2-3 minutes because my hair is short.when I get out of the shower, I take another pea size amount of the leave in treatment and do the same thing as the conditioner step. when I blow dry my hair, it is really soft but it doesn’t feel weighed down. it doesn’t irritate my psoriasis and it doesn’t make my hair greasy. before this stuff, it did not matter how much conditioner or hair masks I used - my hair would still look fried and would still break off (I blow dry my hair on medium heat and do a cold blow dry after). I can now curl my hair and will have nice beachy hair waves that are frizz free.if you have hair like mine was, you need this stuff. I know it’s pricy but these bottles will last you forever. i’ve had these for a little over 3 months now and I still have at least 3/4 of the bottles left and the leave in treatment is still practically full.
