I really love these boots. My first pair of hikers in over 20 years and they will take some getting use to for me. Not because of the boots but because I am knock kneed and I tend to walk on the side of my feet which has caused me a great deal of problems over the years including now plantar fasciitis ugh lol. I do like the fact that these almost force me to hold my feet correctly just by the way they are constructed and i seem to walk better. They felt heavy when i first picked them up and that got me nervous because I thought they would be to heavy while wearing them but I was pleased to realize that's not the case at all. I feel only a slight difference between these and the shoes I have been wearing. These hikers seem very well made with amazing traction and sturdy. I wear a 6.5 and that is what i ordered. They seem a bit big but with winter coming soon and heavier socks i don't think that will be an issue. The insoles seem nice and fit my foot well which I like because I have a very hard time finding shoes or boots that support my high arches. My only complaint is of course the plantar fasciitis situation. The insoles don't help much with that so far. I admit though much better than what I've been using. I got a pair of Dr. Scholls insoles made specifically for plantar fasciitis and they caused the hikers to be to tight around the top of my foot. So I am not going to be able to use them unless I take out the insoles that came with the boots. Which I probably should anyway but i like the extra cushioning lol. The other complaint I guess would be nothing to do with the hikers but the shipping. It took I believe 2 weeks to receive the hikers with the shipping date being changed 3 times! I almost canceled the order. But all in all I'm glad I didn't. I will update if I remember lol to tell how they have held up and or if I have been able to wear them with my stupid issues.
