The cover feels well made and durable. All the materials feel solid and well built, and it looks nice after it's on. We bought this cover because trying to get the leaves off of the traditional ones that sit on the water is a nightmare every year. So far as the leaves are falling I can just blow them off with the leaf blower, which is fantastic.I put the anchors in with a corded hammer drill. Nothing super fancy, just a Craftsman one from the local hardware store. The bit size required is 3/4", and they get sunk around 2" into the concrete. Once they're in, the springs go over the screw studs pretty easily with the provided leverage tool.My biggest complaint would probably be the instructions. They aren't terrible, but they aren't great either. I have the version with the additional stair flap, and there are not measurements or instructions for that portion. They only show and cover the rectangle model. They also don't show the correct way anywhere in the instructions to thread the strap through the buckle and spring. I had to look that up elsewhere.Outside of the instructions though, I'm very happy so far. I was able to do the whole thing myself, and only need another person to pull the cover down the length of the pool. Certainly feels worth the money, especially compared to the price on the bigger name brand ones. One note: since I did a fresh install, I just matched the spacing for the existing straps. If this is a replacement, the straps are not exactly 5' apart, at least for the 16'x32' pool model with stairs. The actual distance on mine measured 5' 8". Just something to keep in mind if you already have anchors with a 5' spacing.
