I had a little trouble with getting it to reach through the wall, as the old vent was mounted right on the outside of the siding on the house, so this pipe didn't reach all the way through, but I bought a 3" to 4" adapter, cut it down just long enough to insert into the end of the copper pipe, and fastened both ends to the wall, holding it in place. It's attractive, and I like that there's a little grate to keep pests out on the bottom of the exhaust. It slides in and out of tabs on either side for cleaning and is tight so critters can't pull it apart. Looks attractive on the side of the house. Love it!
