First off, these are real, Satsuma Kiriko glass (hence, the price). I was a little skeptical that they would be genuine, but they are, and they are absolutely stunning works of usable art. This is a perfect gift for those who appreciate sake (nihonshu) or Japanese culture in general. You can enjoy dessert wines or high end vodka or tequilla in these as well.This is also the best price I’ve found anywhere if you account for shipping from Japan. They arrived sooner than expected and in a nice wooden presentation box (buffered with a recent edition of a Japanese newspaper).I have a feeling that these will be the first in an ongoing collection of Kiriko glasses :)
