Just got these in and love them! They are light on my face but don't feel cheap. I like how they sit on my face as well. I plan on using them while running and hiking so I was looking for some that won't move around on my face so I'm pretty satisfied. I've bought from other brands like Costa and Mauii Jim but I always end up losing them. These are just as good without the insane cost.Great for lake fishing, Improved definition, and cut down on reflection.I got these Parallel Eyewear Yosemite Polarized Sunglasses for myself, for around the water and such, and well, I've already lost them... to my wife...They come in a nice box with the set including the sunglasses, a nice case with a hook for attaching to a belt or bag, cloth pouch, and cleaning cloth. A good amount of items for the set. This means it not only good for gifting yourself, but would make a nice gift. The first thing I always notice in new sunglasses is weight. NOT that they have to be "heavy" to "be good," but they need to be "substantial," meaning "have something to them." Too flimsy or weak and you're replacing them. Too heavy and they can grow uncomfortable to wear. So far these have been spot-on with substantial weight and substance to them. They feel as though they're going to have longevity and be there for (me) her long term, and I like that. The polarizing thing works. Testing them outside in our (hot and humid) summer and they let me see just fine. Great view, seems like they'll be great on the water when we get back out there. Testing also meant going from AC out into the heat and humidity and so far, no fogging. That's a huge plus.So I put them on and love the look and feel. I tend to not do as well with "wrap around" sunglasses, but these were great. Really grabbed my attention. And again, no fogging - another issue I have from sweating to going cold to hot. But in the times I was allowed to wear them, nothing. I have a larger head and many sunglasses actually end up looking good on me. These really impressed...Then the mistake... I let my wife try them on.She has the opposite head - her's is small and oval and she usually HATES how sunglasses look on her. She has only a couple pairs because she cannot find ones she likes... until this Parallel Eyewear Yosemite Polarized Sunglasses... so... she said she's going to steal them.I gave them to her. She does look great and they made her happy...She loves them.So...I normally do not comment on price due to the nature of being a reviewer. But in this case, I want to - my criteria for doing so is, would I spend the price point to buy the item? In this case, yes, I think I would. As of this writing, these are listed at $95.We do not know the Parallel brand; neither of us have heard of it before. I have a couple Ray Ban (the only "brand" I truly know), a few sunglasses in the $20 - $49, and a few between $50 - $99. I think I need my wife to wear these for awhile before making a final decision, but so far they are a solid, feel-like good materials and good construction, well weighted sunglasses. They look great on both of us. They do not fog. And my wife is loving them. So yea, I think they would be something for which I would be willing to spend the money... to get myself a pair. (someday)One of my favorite brands I've tried by far. They are very comfortable. They cover good portion of your eyes leaving little sunlight to get through the sides. The material is flexible and lightweight. Leaving a comfortable fit. The lens are great quality and can hold up to minor bumps and scrapes. Definitely recommend.I generally wear just "cheap" sunglasses (nod to ZZ Top) because I lose them or break them quite often while out doing active things. I decided to give these a try and see if they would be better and longer lasting and I can say with certainty that yes, they are! They are excellent and durable! Here's what I love about them:1. They are nicely made and sturdy. Wore these hiking and cycling, with the later being the activity where I typically break and abuse my sunglasses when they fall off my face etc. These actually stayed on my face nicely and while I did drop them onces - they survived the drop with zero damage. Yay!2. They are comfortable! Feels great on my face, not too heavy. The frame is slightly rubberized, which is very comfortable.3. They offer great protection from the sun. They are polarized, too.4. They are a nice design.5. They are lightweight, yes, but they are NOT cheap looking or feeling whatseoever.6. They are a great price especially considering the quality.7. They come with a nice case.Overall, these are great glasses - would make a great gift, too. Highly recommend them! It's kind of hard to explain what I mean. Let's see... I've come across lighters with this treatment too, and that treatment seems to be that the glasses frames are given a slight rubber coating over their entire surface! I myself have never come across anything like them. I like them a lot though. What's more is that it also gives the frames a sort of matte feeling and look, and makes it so you don't have to worry about any fingerprints on the frames for a change. That being said, that one picture I provided that shows the, "Parallel," microfiber cloth next to another microfiber cloth is show the folks at Parallel a way to set themselves apart from the competition, because the microfiber cloth that comes with these is nothing to be excited about... See the other microfiber cloth though? Let's put it this way: I got it with a pair of Serengeti sunglasses nearly TWENTY years ago! AND, I wound up selling those glasses less than five years later. But THAT microfiber cloth? It'll have to be pried from my cold dead hands, as in the twenty years I've had it I haven't come across a microfiber cloth that even comes close to it. Anyway, I would highly recommend anyway. And yes, they are indeed, polarized.
