This blow dryer has every bell and whistle you can imagine and then some for such an affordable price point! I have the $500 dryer and I have to say I would choose this one over that one any day of the week. For $50?! What? It's a no brainer just buy this and you’ll be sooo happy.Ok so I opened this up and loved the sleek look and feel of this dryer. It’s feather light even with the concentrator attachment on it, check out my pics of it on my scale. Please ignore the fact that my scale needs to be cleaned. The magnets on this aren’t overly strong but as long as you’re not swinging it around like a light saber you should be ok. And honestly I did shake it a lot with the concentrator on it and it didn’t fall off, only the diffuser fell off and realistically you don’t shake the dryer when using the diffuser normally. This has 3 wind speed settings and 5 heat settings. Wind is low, medium, and high. Heat is low, medium, high, cycle, and baby. There is also a cold setting that I personally don’t consider heat since it’s not and it is a nice cold not a still hot cold. The cycle setting is something a lot of your newer dryers are coming with but the baby setting was new to me and very unexpected. I only found it because when I initially turned the dryer on I got an error code E3(?) so I grabbed the book to look it up and that’s where I found out about the baby settings. As for the error code I haven’t seen it again so I’m hoping it’s nothing because the book doesn’t have a trouble shooting error codes section. So the baby setting, you hold the temp button for 3 seconds and it enters baby mode which slows the wind and lowers the temperature to exactly what you would need for using this on a baby fresh out of the bath. If you live in cold environment keeping your little one dry after a bath in the cold weather can be a struggle this will help lessen that struggle. I feel like they need to advertise this aspect more because I didn’t know it was there until I read the book! I was in love with this dryer right out of the box but finding out about baby mode just makes me want to give this as a gift to everyone I know who might be having a baby any time soon. My only negative about this is the cord us a bit short. My bathroom is small so it’s not an issue for me but when I travel if I had to plug this into an outlet on the back wall of the counter and still have enough slack to turn my head upside down to blow it dry and give it volume I’d be struggling not to rip it out of the socket. This is by no means a reason not to buy this, all the extras it comes with make up for that one drawback. Of course it not going to stop me from gifting this to expectant mothers as a baby shower gift that won’t be appreciated until it’s fully explained then they will love it.
