I love them. I use the for work all the timeI was a little skeptical about this boot with the steel-toe and having a wide foot. The boot has a well made upper and lower. My feet seem to breath ok and I'm not sitting in a puddle of sweat. The only issue I have is with the top eyelet-hook. That when I tie them up tight...the inside eyelet rubs on BOTH of my ankle-bones. So I only use the bottom eyelet to tie it tight (but has has two eyelets only for speed tie). I hope they move it forward/backwards to stop the rubbing, to allow for a better tighter fit for weak ankles in construction.Takes a couple of days to break them in. My husband loves them. He wears them every day to work. Timberland pro is his all time favorite work boots. He really likes the cushion that they have, most boots don't have the cushion that these boots have. They hold up very well too. Timberland pro boots usually last him about 2 years. These we haven't had that long yet, only a couple of months so far, but we will see how they will hold up later on down the line. I'm sure they will last as long as others has.I work around water most of day so I need to find a way to keep my feet dry. Although It looks great but my intention to buy this in part was the waterproof aspect.Water or dampness still gets in the toe box and at end of day I end up with wet socks.Fit like they were made for me, right out of the box. Light weight, study and very comfortable.I bought these for work but the black grain of the leather is so beautiful I am going to buy a different boot exclusively for work. If it was not for the orange ankle cushion people would think these are dress shoes. They performed well on a 6 mile hike over rough terrain. I would give them a 8 of 10 for hiking. 10 of 10 for aesthetics. 9 of 10 for feeling light weight.The boot is a great looking work shoe. The foot bed could be much better though. It is uncomfortable and leaves you sore at the end of your day.These were purchased for my son, who had just started a new job, and he stated that they feel really good on his feet. He's very pleased with his new boots.
