First impression was there is too much packaging here, however, it is all well protected and looks so nice as a gift.I chose the red dryer, which came with the accessories shown: Diffuser (deep bowl), wide concentrator, narrow concentrator, and an additional red attachment that goes over the gray, "jet" air end of the dryer. The attachments all snap on securely and stay on. (I did not use the diffuser, though, just put it on and off). I do not understand why the red attachment is there to cover the gray end. I did not see an explanation on the product page, box, or user's manual.This type of brushless dryer is much more effective than standard dryers, meaning it dries faster. Much faster. It also does not get as hot, which is better for your hair, but we curlies use the heat to help tame our hair. I had to touch up my hair with a quick pass of a hair iron to control it a little better. I probably used less heat doing that than using hot the entire time on my hair. The dryer has three temperature choices and two speeds.This is much better balanced for my hand than the dryers with the motor in the handle. The weight is in the top, not the handle, the same balance as standard dryers. The handle is smaller and easier to use, with contours for your fingers. The controls are slightly raised, which means you do not accidentally hit controls, or at least I did not. The dryer is lightweight and much quieter than a standard dryer.The red color makes a statement and looks great! I like to have nice looking things around me, and this fits the bill.This also comes with replacement filters and a lint brush for the filters. The directions tell you what to do.The cord is heavy, and long. It's a little odd to have such a light dryer with such a heavy cord, but the brushless dryers all have that type of cord. It is long enough that you can do another person's hair.I would not hesitate to buy this, as long as its price fits your range. It's not as pricey as some, but this is not an inexpensive item either.
