Our Infrared Pro Hair Dryer is an energy efficient, lightweight, therapeutic hairdryer which uses far-infrared technology to speed up drying time by up to 50 Percent, minimising exposure to heat.
FAR-INFRARED TECHNOLOGY FOR FASTER HEALTHIER DRYING Which uses deep-penetrating infrared light to dry your hair from within. Unlike traditional hair dryers that only target the outer layer of hair, infrared technology penetrates deeper, speeding up the drying process by up to 50% while minimising prolonged exposure to damaging heat. This means less time spent styling and healthier hair over time. Whether you have fine, thick, or chemically-treated hair, the infrared technology works to maintain your hair’s natural moisture, reducing the risk of heat damage
NANO IONIC TECHNOLOGY FOR SMOOTH FRIZZ-FREE HAIR It also uses Nano Ionic Technology which helps to reduce frizz and enhancing smoothness, leaving your hair not only frizz-free but also deeply nourished and shiny
ENERGY EFFICIENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY DESIGN The 1300W BLDC motor (Brushless DC motor) is designed to be both energy-efficient and powerful. This motor uses 40% less energy compared to traditional motors while still providing the same high-performance drying power
VERSATILE CONTROLS FOR ALL HAIR TYPE The Nicky Clarke Infrared Pro Hair Dryer comes with three heat settings and two speed settings, allowing you to tailor your drying and styling experience to your specific hair type and needs. The variable controls ensure that no matter your hair type or styling preference, you’ll be able to achieve the best possible results
I have been looking for a hairdryer that ticks all the boxes - low energy, powerful but quiet, and quick-drying - I was trying to decide on spending on the Dyson or other expensive brands, but spotted this and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did - it is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight too, the nozzles friction-fit really well (just pull off a bit, turn and push back to change position - it's nottoo hot to the touch) and the buttons are well-placed and aren't easily switched over by accident. I honestly can't praise this hairdryer highly enough! I've got thick, long, wavy hair, and it takes just over 10 mins to dry from towel-dried rather than 20 mins with my previous hairdryer. It takes about 5 mins if I leave my hair to air dry in the warmer months. I just rough-dry it without the nozzle for about 5 mins, then finish off with the wider nozzle in 6 sections. It's got more of a "whoosh" sound to it rather than an annoying and loud high pitched sound, and definitely doesn't leave my ears ringing afterwards !In terms of frizziness - as usual when you change to a new hairdryer and you have frizzy hair, you have to get used to it, and maybe adapt your routine a little. I found at first it could get a little frizzy soon after using. I expect it's because it's got higher air flow than my previous dryer - but I'm still experimenting with the different nozzles too (and maybe I should section my hair more since there's so much of it, especially now I'm growing it long again). EDIT: I've finally worked out how the hairdressers reduce frizz and it has definitely worked well with this hairdryer too: making sure you dry the hair from the underside as well. So I used to have the brush curling under my hair, and hair dryer above my head pointing downwards along the length. Make sure you flip the hair over onto the brush positioned above your hair, and position the dryer so it's getting the underside of your hair section whilst the brush guides it downwards and outwards. Basically, I was missing the underside of the hair that wasn't drying properly and frizzing up. It's so much more well behaved now!The best solution when I'm still in a rush: I'm using a frizz-ease serum (which I wasn't before) and either use the cool setting and cool shot function on low power to set the hair after drying (followed by more serum) or tie it back in a low ponytail to let it set. So I wouldn't say it's especially anti-frizz, but it doesn't make it more frizzy than normal. You might just need to be prepared to experiment with the settings to find the best way to dry it without frizz.Overall: buy it! It's a great hairdryer, you'll save yourself precious time (and money) and probably protect your hearing too. I love it, just bought one as a Christmas present too!
