I like the fit and comfort of this boot.Excellent work bootVery comfortable! And yet tough and ruggedUnlike the Hyperion boots, these, like stated be everyone else, have NO break in period. They are one of the most comfortable boots I have worn. The ONLY things that made me return these and keep my Hyperions are the facts that the leather is very soft (it scratches way to easily), it doesn't have any abrasion resistance on the toe to help with the soft leather (I know they're work boots, but I like my stuff to look nice), and no insulation.The Hyperion has the abrasion resistance (doesn't really need, but ill take it), insulation (I wanted a 'one size for every situation' type boot), and doesn't scratch... like, at all. IMHO, the Helix looks ten times better, it just doesn't do what I want.I gave this boot a 5 star because it really is an awesome boot, just didn't fit my needs.these are my 4th pair. Love them.. The reason Im giving it 2 stars is because of the 30 comfort fit guarantee. I received these boots as expected and i tried them on. they didn't feel as comfortable as the last 3 pair but i figured they would brake in. well it only got worse. I called timberland to try to use the 30 day guarantee but since i got them on Amazon and not in a store its like jumping through hoops to return them. the man said that this brand may not be covered even though a 30 day guarantee came in the box attached to the boots. plus i didn't get a store receipt since i got it through amazon. i am kind of out of luck.. i may try a different boot company that will stand behind there product. i am a contractor who is hard on my boots and i always liked how they felt. They don't last any longer than a cheaper brand they just look better. maybe i should go with price and not the big name.. then if they don't stand by it then i will be out less money. long and short of it .. you should probably buy them from a store so you will have a face to talk too. if they helped me i would have given 6 starsThese boots are great. The leather was supple and flexible right out of the box. They keep my feet dry in wet conditions. Just be careful with the size. I'm a 10 in most shoes (10.5 for Nike stuff), and the size 10 I ordered initially was way too small, both at the toe and around the ball of the foot. I got a size 11 and they fit perfectly.I bought this boot for my husband because he is often on ladders or on his feet for hours on end. The first time he wore them he said they were the most comfortable work boots he'd ever worn. I then bought them for my son, who works for my husband's company and he felt the same way. I subsequently ordered 3 more pairs as a bonus for some of our other employees - the comfort and safety features can't be beat and we like to keep our guys happy and safe.I work at a golf course on a grounds crew and for me the boot works out perfectly. The waterproofing and water proof material do an amazing job at holding out the moisture also the anti fatigue system keeps my body comfortable and ready as I do all the different jobs. the only problem I have with the boot is that the outer material on the toe seems to wear off easily but that might just be the color and not so much the material so all in all I would recommend the boot to any one in a field related to mine.I just as many others were tired of buying new boots every 4 months. Not only are these incredibly comfortable, but they last forever. I am very very hard on my work boots walking through attics everyday. Walking on angles where the boots are twisted and bent each and every way, other boots that I have owned would be falling apart after 2-3 months. These have lasted me over two years, and only now has the stitching had enough. I will never buy another pair of boots.
