This freaking thing is awesome sauce! I replaced a rather old one myself and it was super simple to do. Don't call a technician. Just don't shock yourself. As long as you are not a complete moron, you'll be just fine.My old pump was loud and always ran. This mofo is super quiet and only runs as needed. I'm in love with the silence this brought to my home.Also, this was an exact replacement for the one I had before. It was just old as Hell and seen better days about a decade ago.
