Good shoe/boot for me. I work as a metal fabricator/finisher/ironworker in an art studio, and had been wearing my foundry boots for about a year to work. The Golden Fox Chukka is light enough for the kind of walking I do everyday (approximately 2-4 miles) and the cushion is great. My workers co-workers all mentioned how cool they look, which is true. They look dope.For those of you who want arch support: if you pronate, go to a running store and have someone sell you a really good pair of insoles; if you supinate, you actually don’t need arch support, you need motion control, and my former advice also holds true. But this boot is awesome when it comes to cushion, most comes from the outsole, but some comes from the insole, which is adequate.All in all, great boot, we’ll see how durable it is. But, at the price, if they last me longer than 9 months, I’ll be impressed.This is a great Boot with very nice leather and good quality construction. After reading the reviews I went a half size down from a 10 to a 9.5 because I have a wide foot. I received the boots and put them on and they were just a bit snug for the width of my foot. I will be exchanging for a 10. Great quality Boot with an affordable price point however if your wide footed beware. Can't wait to get the proper size.Boot soles fell apart after 3 weeks of normal use. Don’t recommend. Customer support said it looked like I slashed my boot. Don’t buy.Second pair and very satisfied. I am hard on boots as a machinery mechanic / general bozo and these babies last me at least all year. The fantasy dress up red wings are gone in a month or 2 with real work and at least double price. Keep these things comin ??Great boot!As told, I bought a half size small and it fit perfect. I do asphalt/paving work and put boots through real abuse and so far so good. I should menstion that I treated them with mink oil before I ever wore them on a job site to condition/water proof the leather.Great shoe. I recieve alot of compliments. Most people dont think they are steel toe. Perfect for office/field balance. They broke in fast.I have a problem with the right shoe. It does not fit like the left. After two hours I had a blister on my heel and had to take them off. I tried thicker socks but still same issue. This was after I went down a full size.
