I have very thin skin, and am always rubbing skin off my arms,and bleeding. I bought and tried the kevlar sleeves with the thumb hole, and they kept sliding down, exposing the elbow, which kept bleeding after just rubbing against something. After getting the elastic straps fastened in the right places, these are the greatest thing since suspenders. They are comfortable, and will not slide down. I cut my other ones shorter to cover my wrists and the back of my hands, and just wear them inside these. I guess I have long arms, and these don't cover my wrists.I would highly recommend these to anyone with thin skin, or like me, on a blood thinner.
