These boots are awesome. I was first introduced to them through the Walking Dead TV show actually. Shane used the high top version of these boots in Season 2, (maybe Season 1 as well).I bought my last pair about 2 years ago and they lasted two years of working a physical job. Bending, kneeling, walking 1000s of miles.The shoe laces do wear out quicker than the boots though, so you may need to eventually replace the shoe laces.I like these because when I tie them tight enough, they support my ankles. I recently started wearing sneakers after my last pair of Bate’s boots ran their course and I would notice sore ankles sometimes after a week of work in the sneakers…I like to workout on top of working a physical job so that was a no no! I reordered myself some Bate’s boots, re-lacing them as soon as I finish typing this!
